Customs Entry WriterCompany/Industry: Mid-size international freight forwarderLocations: Jamaica, NYSalary: $55-80K/yr Commensurate with experience + benefitsStatus: Direct Hire, FT, On-site Mon-FriResponsibilities:Manage A – Z process for routed clientsManage customs entries for routed clientsAccurate and timely filing of Import Security Filing for routed clientsCorrespond with clients regarding ISF, documents, classification, customs / PGA issues, exams/holds, etc.Ensure accuracy of commercial documents for Customs entryMaintain and manage client product HTS databasesMonitor, track and tracing client shipmentsEnsure accurate and timely transmission of CBP & PGA entries of assigned clientsCommunicate with CBP, OGA's, SSL, forwarders and terminals to resolve clearance issuesSecure freight release for routed clients when requiredArrange delivery for routed clients when requiredProcess / monitors Post Summary filingsQualifications:Minimum 3-5 years CHB experienceOrganized and detail-oriented, with the ability to multi-taskResearch, excellent conflict resolution/creative problem-solving, and follow-up skillsAbility to articulate clearly through written and oral presentationAbility to work independently and within a team environmentCompensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $55,000.00 - $80,000.00
