Job Description
The GCC Dump Tractor Trailer Driver WS 1 safely operates a dump truck unit by loading, hauling and dumping construction materials such as soil, stone, concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials
Work Environment: Outdoor
Physical Requirements:
Stand or walk for long periods; use arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects; lift and carry materials weighing 50 lbs.; climb up and down, carrying tools and equipment; stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl, and see (naturally or with correction). Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat and cold). Must meet DOT Physical requirements as determined by FMCSA.
Desired Education: HS Diploma or Equivalent preferred. Must possess and maintain Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
Desired Experience: Graduation/Successful completion from Certified Driving Academy; and 6+ months driving experience.
Desired Knowledge: Must maintain violation free driving record. Basic reading, writing, addition and subtraction skills. Ability to work up to 70 hours per week during high-peak project times.
